RELOCATION FOR SPORTSWEAR GIANT TO ASSEMBLY ROW
Timberline completed the PUMA North American Headquarters located at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA. This location was chosen to combine their two offices – one in Westford and one in WeWork in downtown Boston – to accommodate all 450 of their regional employees.
We started the project in November 2020, coinciding with Covid-19 closures and rising infection rates. We pushed through on construction deadlines and schedules to ensure that the move-in date was to stay as planned for September 2021. Overcoming the challenges of little in-person interactions, material delays and unexpected communication challenges due to the pandemic – our team adopted PUMA’s mantra of “Forever Faster” to keep the expected move-in date.
This new 150,000-square-foot facility offers employees a collaborative, flexible work environment to grow the business. The site includes a creatively branded space with state-of-the-art modern amenities to attract talent including on-site dining, a professional-level fitness center, an on-location kid’s room for visiting children, as well as access to outdoor spaces with a 19,000-square-foot roof deck and a 2,300-square-foot roof balcony.
Timberline has continued work with PUMA, completing multiple client-facing showrooms on the 13th floor to better suit the client’s needs.
