A Precision-Built Home for Golf Innovation

Timberline partnered with Acushnet Company to bring their vision for the new Titleist Performance Center to life, a world-class research and testing facility purpose-built to support the brand’s ongoing innovation in golf equipment technology.

The 11,000 SF, two-story, ground-up building includes high-performance testing bays featuring proprietary pressure plate flooring systems, an indoor putting green, fitness and recovery areas, and lounge and multipurpose spaces for training and events. Designed to serve both professional athletes and elite amateurs, the space reflects the precision and excellence for which Titleist is known.

Timberline’s eight-month preconstruction effort was key to the project’s success. Our team worked closely with the design team and client to navigate complex budgeting and value management efforts, ultimately reallocating savings to expand project scope, including upgrades to an adjacent existing building.

The facility features a full 3-phase power upgrade, coordinated during mid-design, and a custom façade with glazed overhead doors that open to manicured outdoor practice and testing areas. The result is a sleek, technically advanced facility that supports Titleist’s mission and reinforces its global leadership in performance innovation.
