AMENITIES FILLED BUILDING REFRESH FOR THIS 1980s ASSET
The owner of 25 Mall Road, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, decided to do a refresh of the common areas of this 288,000 SF office building. Most of the building’s common areas had not been upgraded since the original build in 1987, so Timberline was tasked with managing the many construction updates needed to modernize the space.
Renovations throughout the 6-story building included new floors, ceilings, paint, fixtures and finishes to all common corridors and 22 bathrooms. On the ground floor, space was converted into an amenity area for all tenants to use. This included a complete overhaul of the café, a new conference center, a new fitness center with 2 new locker rooms and 4 new common bathrooms.
The grand stair from the main lobby to the new amenity space was demolished and redesigned to update the overall look. This included the removal of marble to make way for more modern wood, glass & metal finishes. Additionally, the atrium spanning the top 4 floors was refreshed with paint. Construction was mostly conducted after work hours to avoid disruptions.Back to Corporate Projects
