renovation of occupied Medical Office Buildings

With two neighboring medical office buildings – 7 & 12 Alfred Street – becoming dated, MLL Capital decided it was time to complete some upgrades to the interior and exterior of their assets to retain their current user base and attract new tenants.

Partnering with LK Design Group, these renovations were completed in the occupied buildings where our team was able to demolish the existing finishes to make way for the updated space.

Reflecting MLL Capital’s modern vision, new interior renovations include modern luxury vinyl tile flooring in both lobbies and new lighting fixtures throughout the common corridors. The main multi-story lobby now has an open, airy feel with the help of updated paint, all-new furniture and glass guard rails on the upper floors.

In addition to the building improvements, the Timberline team most recently wrapped up an interior renovation for CVR Medical, a medical technology company, within 7 Alfred St. Their space features an updated reception area, office space, small kitchen areas and bathroom.

The exteriors of both buildings were enhanced with new colorful glass canopies allowing for patient drop-off, upgraded sidewalks and a full landscaping package. With all of the collective upgrades, these Woburn buildings accurately reflect the lofty visions of the healthcare tenants that call the buildings home.

Timberline did an excellent job working through complex scheduling issues of an active medical office property, and really helped us create an environment that will attract new practices to join the medical ecosystem that already exists at the property.
