Vice President, Director of Preconstruction

With client satisfaction and project success at the forefront of what he does, Jim manages the entire preconstruction process for our clients to ensure a project’s design meets functional, cost and schedule requirements. As the Director of Preconstruction Jim works collaboratively with our clients and project teams to gain a thorough understanding of all desired goals to successfully get projects off the ground.

With over 15 years of experience in construction and real estate project management, Jim has an extensive background in managing projects from feasibility studies through completion. With this knowledge Jim is able to advise our clients regarding the total cost, budget and schedule needed to perform a construction project. His deep understanding of project management, planning, estimating and procurement allows our clients to explore all options and decide upon the best approach upfront.

Prior to joining Timberline Construction, Jim was Vice President/Project Management Director for Cushman & Wakefield where he oversaw all project and relocation activities including programming, design, contractor/consultant selection and project execution. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Jim was a Senior Project Manager/Estimator with Chapman Construction/Design and also served as the Head of Procurement overseeing subcontractor bidding and purchasing across Chapman’s entire project portfolio.
