RENOVATIONS & RELOCATION FOR A LEADING ENERGY COMPANY

National Grid, one of the largest energy companies in the US, embarked on a relocation project. As part of this endeavor, Timberline was brought on to work on two office locations concurrently in Waltham and Worcester.

The Worcester location, approximately 18,000 SF of office space, underwent an extensive renovation. The project encompassed upgrades to the existing infrastructure, the introduction of new finishes throughout the space, the inclusion of multiple conference rooms and a large multipurpose training room. Given the building was originally constructed in 1890, additional coordination and upgrades with MEP/FP systems were required.

In Waltham, notable upgrades included a new reception desk, modifications to the existing furniture systems and updates to fixtures and finishes. Construction was executed within a fully-occupied building, requiring meticulous phasing and consideration of multiple levels to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations.
