EXPANSION FOR THIS LIFE SCIENCE MANUFACTURER

Greenlight Biosciences is a biotechnology company specializing in DNA & RNA research and manufacturing for human, animal and plant health. Greenlight makes forms of RNA available at a large scale using a different manufacturing platform. Recently they announced an expansion of research and development, leading to a need for updated laboratory and office space for their ever-expanding team in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Timberline worked with Greenlight on this design-build renovation project to turn the existing building into a state-of-the-art laboratory space to support their expanding research efforts. A large portion of the project involved upgrades to the existing space including wet labs, clean rooms and research areas. The design also incorporated new conference rooms, office space and an employee kitchen/break area for collaboration and independent work outside of the labs.
