EXPANSION IN FULLY OPERATIONAL MISSION-CRITICAL FACILITY
Timberline completed fit-out of shell space at this 230,000 SF data center serving the mission-critical business applications of healthcare, financial, technology, and educational enterprises in the Greater Boston market. Our precision-based up-front planning outlined every step in advance to ensure that no aspect of construction would affect the facility’s 24/7 operations. Installation of critical battery equipment and switch gear in addition to tie-ins to the master control was carefully completed by the Timberline team during coordinated brief shutdowns requiring fast mobilizations and performance of the work.
Fitting and running the all new power, HVAC and plumbing systems within extremely tight tolerances prior to installation of the new raised floor required extensive field coordination of multiple subcontractors and direct vendors.
