To honor and celebrate Memorial Day, this year the Timberline Culture Club set up a Military Drive for our troops to give back to the men and women who defend our country daily. This year’s drive was inspired by Rochelle Dost, an Assistant Project Manager here at Timberline. Her fiancé John is currently deployed with his unit, 424 Engineer Company of the U.S. Army.

“I am so thankful that the Culture Club was willing to help coordinate a military drive. My fiancé’s decision to serve and protect this country makes me proud to call him my future husband. This drive is a nice reminder of home while the troops are away,” said Dost. “Having this drive around Memorial Day weekend is perfect timing because it helps to remember the importance of the holiday. While many of us think of Memorial Day as the unofficial beginning of summer, it’s a day of remembrance for the many families who have lost a loved one serving this country.”

Items donated by our Timberline team include dry goods and personal care items that will be assembled as a large care package. This package will be sent to the 424 Engineer Company, which is based out of Rutland, Vermont with soldiers from all over New England. They are currently deployed in the Middle East and are performing various construction projects.

Happy Memorial Day from our Timberline team to all, especially the military personnel who serve and sacrifice their lives for the sake of our country and freedom. Thank you for all that you do.
