The Sewall Building at The Dimock Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts recently received the Mayor Thomas M. Menino Legacy Award through Preservation Massachusetts. This award recognizes preservation projects that are transformative, catalytic, embrace the community, create partnerships and revitalize the best of the past to make something good for the future.

The Dimock Center is a long-term valued client of Timberline’s with multiple projects completed and underway on its dense urban campus. This 14-month gut rehabilitation project restored and revitalized the aging 100-year old Acute Treatment Center for substance abuse disorder. The Dimock campus houses one of only three inpatient detox facilities in Boston. For more information on this project at The Dimock Center, click here.
