Canton, MA – Timberline Construction Corporation (Timberline) is pleased to announce that Kevin A. Golemme, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has joined the firm as Director of Architecture, enhancing the company’s integrated design-build services and expanding its expertise across life sciences, mission-critical and corporate environments. A strategic addition to Timberline’s design-build team, Golemme brings deep architectural expertise and a strong design focus to a group of experienced registered architects and interior designers.
With more than 30 years of experience in architecture and project leadership, Golemme brings a proven track record of delivering complex, high-performance facilities ranging from advanced research laboratories to corporate headquarters and secure government environments. In his role, Golemme will lead the planning and execution of architectural design across Timberline projects, guiding teams from early concept through construction while ensuring alignment between design intent, client goals and buildability.
“Kevin’s depth of experience and ability to seamlessly connect design vision with construction execution make him an outstanding addition to Timberline,” said Steve Wassersug, President of Timberline Construction. “As our life sciences and advanced technology sectors continue to grow, Kevin’s expertise is complementary to that demand and strengthens our ability to deliver complex, high-performance environments for our clients.”
Golemme’s portfolio includes major projects such as a 500,000-square-foot headquarters relocation and campus renovation for Boston Scientific, as well as work for leading projects for organizations including the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, Charles River Laboratories and SmartLabs. His expertise spans life sciences, R&D, corporate facilities and secure, technically complex environments.
Before joining Timberline, Golemme owned and operated his own architectural practice and previously led projects at firms including Signer Harris Architects and BKA Architects, where he developed a strong specialization in life sciences and advanced technology sectors.
“I’m excited to join Timberline because it offers the opportunity to work on larger, more complex projects as part of a collaborative team,” said Golemme. “After years of leading my own practice, I’m looking forward to being back in a dynamic environment where design and construction come together to deliver impactful results for clients.” He added that Timberline’s strong reputation and project portfolio — combined with its team-oriented culture — made the decision a natural fit.
A licensed architect and active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Boston Society of Architects, Golemme is also NCARB-certified and a LEED Accredited Professional, underscoring his commitment to sustainable and high-performing design.
